History

The ΔI (Delta Iota) chapter of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Incorporated was chartered on June 6th and 7th, 1975 on the campus of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU). The Delta Iota chapter is known for exemplifying the four core pillars of Kappa Psi: Fellowship, Industry, Sobriety, and High Ideals.

 

With these principles instilled in its members, they have become life long leaders. To name a few of their achievements:

  • Florida Pharmacy Association presidents and vice-presidents,

  • deans of various colleges of pharmacy across the US,

  • experts in various fields of pharmacy such as pharmacogenomics, pharmaceutical industry, and health-system practice,

  • and interim deans of FAMU
